Mark Kingsley, President & CEO: Mark joined Alion after leading Trina Solar’s rapid growth and global expansion as the Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to this, Mark led the turnaround of ABB’s >$1B Robotics business unit. While a Senior Executive at GE, Mark served as the Chief Marketing Officer of $1.8B GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies. Prior to his CMO role, Mark was an executive in GE’s $6B plastics business. He served as General Manager of automotive marketing in Tokyo, Japan; President of Latin America in Saõ Paulo, Brazil; and Product Manager in Selkirk, New York.
Marc Zablatsky, CFO: Marc has a 25-year track record of financial leadership, fundraising and accelerating growth for early stage companies, turnarounds and international organizations ready to scale. He is a builder of businesses in B2C / B2BC technology-focused organizations in consumer goods & services, retail, SaaS and education and the emerging aging marketplace. Marc has extensive experience setting up and running teams in FP&A, Fundraising, Corporate Strategy, Operations, Business and Product Development, Quality Assurance, Customer Service and Marketing.
Marc is also a strong supporter of social enterprise ventures. He was CEO of Fitness Forward, COO of Management Leadership for Tomorrow and was President of the Harvard Business School Alumni Club. To help startups with smarter finance, Marc is armed with an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S from Babson College where he triple major in Finance, Economics and Marketing and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Steffen Jensen, VP Operations: Steffen brings 17 years of experience developing technology and successfully deploying products in solar and other industries. Most recently, he served as SunEdison’s Global Director of Operational Excellence where he established and led SunEdison’s Lean Construction practice for utility-scale solar projects in multiple countries. His efforts with global EPC partners reduced project labor costs by as much as 40%. Before SunEdison, Steffen served on the leadership team at SolFocus, a concentrating photovoltaics company, where he held multiple leadership roles managing strategic partnerships, investor engagement, systems engineering, and product marketing. Steffen holds a Ph.D. in physics from the California Institute of Technology and a B.S. in physics from California State University, San Luis Obispo.
Soren Jensen, VP, Engineering: Soren leverages 20 years of engineering and product development experience with over 10 years of designing and deploying solar trackers and mounting structures. He draws on experience in product development, engineering management, and design engineering from SolarCity, SPG Solar, and SunPower. His technical leadership combines clear understanding of fundamentals of physics, materials, and manufacturing processes with practical lessons learned from deploying many successful products. Soren holds degrees an M.S. in ocean engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Danish Engineering Academy.

Managing Partner, Bright Capital, Mikhail Chuchkevich: Mikhail has over 15 years of strategic planning, business development, private equity and venture investment experience. Prior to joining Bright Capital LLC, Mikhail worked at Rusnano (Russian leading venture investor with over 10B USD capital base) as a Managing Director, Project Office Director and Executive Advisor to CEO as well as held various positions in private equity and advisory assignments in CIS, UK and the Middle East. Mikhail holds a PhD in management.
CEO, Global Cleantech Capital, Paul Kloppenborg, PhD: Paul Kloppenborg is a founder and CEO of Global Cleantech Capital, a growth capital private equity fund focused on building clean energy companies and was formerly the CEO of the Entrepreneurs Fund, also a private equity fund with focus in clean energy through Good Energies, its sub-fund. Paul and his team have invested in over 27 clean energy companies helping to build industry leaders in solar and wind. Prior to his 12 years as a private equity investor, Paul held key management positions, both in private and listed companies in the Netherlands, USA and Germany, and in the capital-intensive industries of Construction & Real Estate Development, Telecommunications & Media and Pipeline & Infrastructure Contracting.
